Board Certification System
The purpose of Neurospinal Society of Japan (NSJ) is to contribute the medical development of neurosurgery by conducting academic exchanges on spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve disorders. We suppose that this will lead to the health and welfare of the entire nation. As part of our efforts to achieve this goal, we have established a Board Certification System (Board-Certified Surgeon of NSJ, Board-Certified Instructor of NSJ, and Certified Training Institute of NSJ).
Our Board Certification System was established in 2005, and the system for Board-Certified Instructor of NSJ and Certified Training Institute of NSJ began in 2003.
In addition to evaluating clinical skills, academic activities are also evaluated, and the results are strictly reviewed by the Board Certification System Committee.
The purpose of this system is to improve the quality of medical care through the training and certification of spinal surgeons who are trusted by society, and through their lifelong education. We believe this system provide technical reliability of each surgeon and professional autonomy.
